MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- The Anderson University men's tennis team earned at least a tie for the CVAC regular-season championship with a 9-0 victory over Pfeiffer Thursday afternoon. Anderson, 13-6 overall and 8-0 in the CVAC, has won five straight matches. The loss drops Pfeiffer to 4-13, 1-6. Anderson has blanked five opponents this season. Doubles -- Ramanathan-Fehske (A) d. Flores-Chiarmonti, 8-2; Weisskopf-Pibernat (A) d. Maurer-Sriram, 8-0; Sanches-Gaspar (A) d. Pouchet-Kerr, 8-2. Singles -- Gaspar (A) d. Flores, 7-6 (3), 6-3; Weisskopf (A) d. Maurer, 6-2, 6-0; Fehske (A) d. Sriram, 6-2, 6-3; Pibernat (A) d. Pouchet, 6-4, 6-0; Sanches (A) d. Kerr, 6-0, 6-0; Ramanathan (A) d. Simpson, 8-1.
