Cross Country and Track & Field Lands Madison Seay and Abby Bozarth

ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson University head cross country and track and field coach Randy Greer has announced that prep standouts Madison Seay and Abby Bozarth both signed national letters of intent during the early signing period and will compete for the Trojans next season.

Seay, a native of Chesnee, S.C., earned two individual South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) championships - in the 3 X 100 meter hurdles and the 400 meter hurdles, while competing for Spartanburg Christian Academy. She also helped lead the Warriors' to five SCISA Class 2A Cross Country Championships and three track and field titles.

Bozarth earned the 2013 Region 8 Cross Country Championship while competing for the Summerville High School Green Wave and is a five-time South Carolina State Qualifier. The Summerville, S.C. native is the 13th-overall ranked cross country runner in the Palmetto State and is the No. 3 ranked senior in the state.
