CLEMSON, S.C. -- The Anderson University track and field teams finished the indoor season at the Tiger Invitational Feb. 9-10. On the men's team, freshman Alex Jordan broke his own mile record for the third consecutive week with a personal best of 4:29. Nate Parsons broke the school record for the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:09. Sophomore Jeremy Hunsaker missed the school record in the 5000-meter run by just one second. Hunsaker was on pace to shatter his school record until he was tripped up during the first mile by another runner. He finished with a time of 16:33.62. On the women's team, Kasey Harold and Diana Willard were the top performers. Harold competed in the long jump and the 800-meter run and had personal bests in both events and broke the indoor school record in the long jump with a jump of 5.10 meters. Harold's 800-meter time was 2:29.42. Willard finished 17th as she broke the school record in the women's 3000-meter run with a time of 10:50.55.
