ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University Athletics salutes the 2019 women's soccer seniors, which helped lead the Trojans to a sixth straight South Atlantic Conference Tournament appearance.
From Anderson, SC… Bethany Morgan
Bethany has played 42 games for the Trojans in just three years and has registered seven goals and two assists. She is a secondary math education major with plans to attend graduate school for physical education. Her favorite things about AUWS are the loving team and incredible friendships she has made.
From Midloathian, VA… Melanie Maddox
Mel has been a constant for the Trojans starting 62 of 63 games in her career recording two goals and three assists while serving as a team captain her junior and senior year. She is a psychology major and Christian studies minor with plans to obtain her master's in counseling. Mel loves the unique team environment at AU and has enjoyed the relationships she has built with teammates and coaches. She will miss this team she calls family!
From Columbia, SC… Michaela Johnson
Michaela has played in 15 games for the Trojans returning to the team after a break during her sophomore year. Her favorite memory is her first day back with the team during her junior year when she was surrounded with hugs from teammates. She has been bought in ever since and works hard everyday, always putting the team first. Michaela is a kinesiology major with plans to continue her education in the field of physical therapy.
From Miami, FL… Stephany Diaz
Steph has played 13 games in her four years with the Trojans and is always pushing herself and others. She is a biochemistry major with plans to attend graduate school for biomedical science. Steph's favorite thing about Anderson is the team unity and unconditional love she and her teammates have for each other. She will miss being a part of a team she can call family.
