Rock Hill, S.C.- Anderson University softball senior Kasey Grant and freshman Kayson Boatner earned All-South Atlantic Conference honors prior to the start of the league tournament which begins on Saturday in Salisbury, N.C.

Grant started all 48 games at second base with a fielding percentage of .979. The Comer, Ala. native collected 35 hits which included eight doubles, two triples and two homeruns. Grant has walked 19 times and been hit-by-pitch on five occasions. On the base path, Grant swiped 13 bases and scored 32 runs for the Black and Gold.

Boatner batted .354 in the designated player slot hitting five doubles, two triples and a team leading 13 homeruns which also ranked third best in the SAC. Boatner drove in a team-high 47 RBI (4^th in SAC) while crossing the plate on 31 occasions.

The Black and Gold will begin SAC Conference Tournament action on Saturday morning against Newberry, hosted by Catawba. First pitch is slated for 9 a.m.
