ANDERSON, S.C. – Following just a five-day layoff and with the South Atlantic Conference Championship only two weeks away, the Anderson men's golf team will make its second appearance in a week in the Volunteer State, as the Trojans are set to compete in Lincoln Memorial's Tennessee River Rumble, Monday and Tuesday, at the Wind River Golf Club in Loudon, Tenn.

The two-day event will be hosted by the Railsplitters on a par-72, 6986 yard layout.

Along with the Trojans and fourth-ranked Lincoln Memorial, Walters State, No. 42 Lenoir-Rhyne, Young Harris, No. 5 Lee, No. 37 Coker, North Greenville, No. 3 Aiken, No. 24 Belmont Abbey, No. 27 Erskine, No. 44 Tusculum, No. 5 Carson-Newman, Wingate, King, No. 26 Newberry, No. 23 Queens and No. 7 North Georgia are expected to be in the field.

The Trojans will be making their sixth appearance in nine years (the tournament was canceled in 2020), while posting their best finish by placing sixth at the conclusion of the 2016 season.

Led by former standout Jake Miller and Calahan Keever's three-round 1-under-par 215s, the Trojans finished seventh in 2021. Miller and Keever finished in a tie for 15th place, with Reece Coleman finishing in a three-way tie for 32nd. Anthony Sutton tied for 44th place, while Daniel Coker finished 79th.

Paced by Keever's two-day, 1-over-par 145, AU finished in a tie for fifth place, last Tuesday at the Tusculum Invitational. Keever finished in a four-way tie for 13th place, while Coleman and Coker finished in a tie for 17th place. Sutton finished 25th, with junior Parker MacDonald claiming a share of 26th place. Freshman Simon Wright shared 85th place.

The Trojans, who are ranked 53rd nationally in the latest Golfstat rankings, continue to be led by Coleman, who owns a 71.95 unadjusted stroke average through seven tournaments. His 4-under 66 in the third round of Barton's Spring Bulldog Clash marks the Trojans' low round of the season. The Port Elizabeth, South Africa, native has finished lower than eighth just once in four spring tournaments and claimed second place at Lincoln Memorial's Spring Kick-off.

Keever owns five top-25 finishes this year and has carded two rounds of 68 and four 69s on the way to a 72.70 unadjusted stroke average. Wright has a 76.05 stroke average and carded a 67 in the second round of the Camden Collegiate in early October, while posting three rounds of 73 during the year.

Coker owns a 76.35 stroke average through six tournaments and notched a 71 in both the second round of the Donald Ross Intercollegiate in mid-October and during the second round of last week's Tusculum Invitational. He also owns a pair of 72s during the year. Parker MacDonald has a 76.75 unadjusted stroke average through three tournaments this year and has posted a pair of even-par 72s, while Sutton owns a 77.14 stroke average through five tournaments.
