ROCK HILL, S.C. - – Anderson University senior keeper Jeanette Campbell was named The South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for matches played during the third week of the 2022 season.
Campbell, a senior from Piedmont, S.C., helped the Trojans to a 1-0-1 record last week with a 0-0 draw against No. 21 Wingate and a 2-1 win over Carson-Newman. Campbell was credited with five stops and picked up a shutout in the draw versus Wingate and she made nine saves and allowed just one goal in the win over Carson-Newman. For the week she had 14 saves with a 0.50 goals against average and a .933 save percentage. This is Campbell's second straight Player of the Week Honor.
