CEDARVILLE, Ohio – At the conclusion of Cedarville's Yellow Jacket Invite, senior Emily Conlin and sophomore Hannah Worsham were named to the All-Tournament Team, as announced late Saturday afternoon.
The duo helped lead the Trojans to a pair of wins at the two day event, including sweeps of both host Cedarville and Northwood.
Worsham posted 23 kills during the three-match opening weekend, while averaging 2.3 kills per set. She ranks 17th in the South Atlantic Conference in kills per set and stands third in the league with an impressive .415 hitting percentage. The Orlando, Fla. native knocked down a team-high seven blocks and ranks 19th in the SAC in blocks.
Conlin handed out 115 assists (11.50/set) during the two-day event and came up with 24 digs, while recording the Trojans' first double-double of the season with 33 assists and 14 digs in the three-set win over Northwood on Saturday. The Glendale, Ariz., native leads the league in assists per set and is second in total assists.
AU is scheduled to get back in action, Friday at South Atlantic Conference preseason favorite Wingate. First-serve is set for 7 pm.
