TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Anderson University women's tennis team used an early lead to roll past nonconference opponent North Greenville; 7-2 on Friday afternoon in Tigerville.
With the win, the Trojans move to 5-2 on the season while North Greenville falls to 0-5.
Anderson won each of its doubles matches gaining a 3-0 advantage heading into the singles portion.
The Black and Gold won 4-of-6 matches to claim the 7-2 victory over the Crusaders.
Anderson returns to action when it host Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday. First serve is slated for 3:30 p.m. at the AU Tennis Complex.
