ANDERSON, S.C.– With an experienced group returning, the expectations will be at a high level in 2018 as Anderson University first year women's soccer coach Sarah Jacobs has released the 2018 schedule.

The Trojans advanced to the South Atlantic Conference semifinals for the fourth straight season and are eager to position themselves for the post-season again in 2018.

The 2018 women's soccer schedule features five non-conference matches which includes three opponents from the Peach Belt Conference and two from Conference Carolinas. Four of the Black and Gold's opponents advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2017.

Jacobs on the upcoming season: "We are looking forward to the 2018 season and hope to continue to build the Trojan women's soccer program into a consistent regional contender. We will face tough competition both in and out of conference as we play six teams ranked in the top eight in the region. I am excited for the opportunity to compete with some of the best teams and believe we will be prepared for the challenge. We will rely on an experienced senior class and veteran leadership as well as young, budding talent. The team has set high standards for themselves, and I look forward to leading the team on the journey toward accomplishing our goals."
