COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Anderson University men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up action at the Gamecock Inaugural, which was hosted by UofSC at the Carolina Indoor Track & Field Complex on Saturday.
Senior Maddie Buddenberg claimed 47th place in a time of 2:43.09 in the women's 800 meter run, while sophomore Natalie Ardis notched a career-best time of 2:54.16 and finished 50th. Freshman Sara Pepper claimed 53rd place in a time of 2:58.19.
In the women's distance medley, the quartet of sophomore Lydia Gambrell, senior Madison Seay, freshman Kamryn Osterbind and sophomore Olivia Rish finished seventh in a time of 13:12.68.
The men's distance medley team, comprised of juniors Luke Horne and Jordan Anderson, along with sophomores Cameron Owens-Hunter and Philip Quillen, finished second in a time of 10:31.60.
Following a two-week layoff, the Trojans will get back in action at the Camel City Invite.
