Greenville, S.C. – Anderson University men's soccer won its seventh straight contest, defeating South Atlantic Conference opponent Catawba, 4-0, on Saturday evening at Legacy Early College Field.
With the win, the Trojans improve to 10-4-1 overall and 5-3-1 in SAC play, while the Indians drop to 6-8 overall and 2-7 in conference action.
The Trojans scored an early first half goal in the fourth minute of action, when junior Harry Ward bicycled kicked a short shot past the keeper.
Anderson went into halftime with a 1-0, before exploding for three goals in the second half.
Anderson outshot Catawba 18(9) – 9(3) while winning the corner kick advantage, 5-3.

Anderson's Gal Elyashiv was credited with three saves , while recording his third clean sheet in a row and seventh of the season.
Catawba's keeper Luc Denisselle had five stops on the evening.
"Tonight was memorable for our seniors, said head coach Michael Zion. "Memorable moments, like this one, are what these seniors will cherish the most as they look back on their college careers. Congrats to our senior group and thank you for all that you have done for our program."
Anderson will wrap up its regular season play when it travels to SAC opponent Queens on Saturday. Kick-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.
