Trojans Advance to SAC Finals with Win Over Top-Seeded Lenoir-Rhyne;2-1

ROCK HILL, S.C. Anderson University men's soccer continued its masterful play winning its seventh match in a row defeating the top-seeded Bears, 2-1, in the South Atlantic Conference Championship semifinal on Friday evening at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.

The Trojans improve to 10-4-3 overall while Lenoir-Rhyne falls to 11-6 overall.

- Lenoir-Rhyne outshot the Trojans narrowly outshot 16-10
- The Bears claimed the corner kick advantage with seven kicks to two
- Lenoir-Rhyne narrowly edged the Black and Gold 8-7 with shots on goal

- The Anderson – Lenoir-Rhyne series now sits at 8-4-5 all-time in favor of the Trojans

- The last time the Black and Gold played for a SAC Tournament Title was in 2013 falling to Queens, 2-0. Prior to 2013, the Trojans won the Tournament Title three straight years.
