Men’s Golf Continues Fall Slate at King Invitational

ANDERSON, S.C. – Following a two-week layoff, the Anderson University men's golf team will get back in action at the King University Invitational, which will be hosted by the Tornado, Monday and Tuesday at the Country Club of Bristol (Tenn.). The course will be a par-70, 6,483 yard layout.

The Trojans opened their fall schedule with a third-place showing at the AU Invitational two weeks ago, with junior Jake Miller's two-day, 1-over-par 145 leading the way for the Black and Gold.

Sophomore Colt Martin finished in eighth place at the AU Invitational, with senior Grayson Bell just behind in a tie for ninth. Senior Cole Jefferys shared 14th place, while sophomore Cal Brock and junior Brady Cox finished in a tie for 18th place. Junior Drake McAlister and freshman Kyle Ketchum finished in a tie for 30th place.

Miller finished in a four-way tie for 15th, while pacing the Trojans to a seventh-place finish a year ago in Bristol. Cox finished in a tie for 22nd with Grayson Bell sharing 28th place. Brock wrapped up last year's tourney in a tie for 32nd.
