Conlin Earns SAC Volleyball Specialist of the Week Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. – For the third time this season, Anderson University standout Emily Conlin has earned AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Specialist of the Week honors, as announced by the league office on Monday morning.

Conlin posted a pair of double-doubles on the week, while averaging nearly 50 assists and 18 digs per match as the Trojans went 1-1 over the weekend.

The Glendale, Ariz., native began the week by dishing out 48 assists and coming up with 15 digs and a pair of service aces in a four-set road win over Catawba, while following up with 51 assists and equaling a season-high with 21 digs in a five-set loss on the road at Queens.

Conlin continues to lead the conference in both assists (615) and assists per set (10.98/set), while ranking 12th in service aces (21), 13th in aces per set (0.38/set), 20th in digs (170) and 21st in digs per set (3.04/set).

Monday morning marked the 11th time of Conlin's stellar career that she has garnered SAC Specialist of the Week accolades.

The Trojans are slated to open a four-match homestand by welcoming preseason Conference Carolinas-favorite Emmanuel to the Electric City, Tuesday night. First-serve is set for 7 p.m.
