HARTSVILLE, S.C. – At the conclusion of the 2018 South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Championship, Anderson junior standout Emily Conlin was named to the All-Tournament Team, as announced by the conference Saturday night.
In two tourney matches, the Glendale, Ariz., native handed out 98 assists (10.89/set) and came up with 51 digs.
In the quarterfinal win over Mars Hill, Conlin notched her 20th double-double of the campaign with 47 assists and 25 digs and followed up with her 21st double-double of the season with 51 assists and 26 digs in the loss to Lincoln Memorial.
After falling to LMU in Friday's semifinals, the Trojans will await Sunday night's NCAA Selection Show to learn its postseason fate. AU was ranked fourth in the latest NCAA Southeast Regional rankings.
Wingate captured its second SAC Tournament title in three years with a four-set win over LMU and claimed the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
