Conlin Named SAC Volleyball Specialist of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. – After helping lead the Trojans to a another perfect 3-0 week, including a pair of conference sweeps and a five-set win at Lincoln Memorial, Anderson University standout Emily Conlin has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Specialist of the Week, as announced by the league office, Monday afternoon.

Conlin, a native of Glendale, Ariz., handed out 142 assists (12.91/set) in the three wins, while notching her 14th, 15th and 16th double-doubles of the season, as the Trojans reached the 24-win plateau for the fifth time in school history.

Conlin handed out 35 assists and notched 10 digs in the three-set win over Newberry and followed up with a match-high 47 assists and added 13 digs in the sweep of Tusculum. The junior posted 60 assists and shared team-high honors with 20 digs at LMU.

She continues to lead the league in assists, assists per set, aces and aces per set, while ranking 13th in digs and 14th in digs per set.

The honor was Conlin's fourth of the season and eighth of her career.

The Trojans are slated to play host to league-leading Wingate at the Abney Athletic Center, Friday night at 6 p.m.
