ANDERSON, S.C. -- The Trojan Track & Field teams open outdoor season this weekend, competing Friday (March 15) at the 49er Classic in Charlotte, N.C. and Saturday at the LR Bears Opener in Hickory, N.C.
"This first weekend of meets for us will be a good opportunity to see where we're at after a very long indoor season," commented head coach Kevin Eagle. "This will be a good starting place as we look to peak again in 7 weeks at the SAC Outdoor Championships."
AU boasted an impressive indoor season composed of countless personal bests and program records. Eight Trojans earned USTFCCCA All-Region distinction, while both the men's and women's programs ranked in the Top 5 in the southeast region and the South Atlantic Conference.
