ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University women's tennis (9-4, 3-2 SAC) fell to South Atlantic Conference opponent Newberry (14-1, 3-1 SAC), 4-3, on Sunday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.
The Trojans took the opening doubles point, but could only win matches at the No.2 and No. 3 flights to fall to Newberry, 4-3.
Anderson will not return to action for 11 days when they step out of conference play on Thursday, March 17th at Emanuael. First-serve is set for 2 pm.
