Women’s Tennis Open Fall Play with Win Over Converse; 7-0

SPARANTBURG, S.C. – Anderson University women's tennis opened up fall play by defeating nonconference opponent Converse, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon at the Converse Tennis Complex.

In doubles action, AU's Laura Dean and Mirna Curcic defeated Steffi Kong and Taylor Parrott, 6-1 while Jacqueline Olivia and Cameron Blanchard also quickly put away Maria Belen Vendrell and Snighda Musugunthan, 6-1, to earn the doubles point.

The Trojans ran the table in singles action picking up all six points.

Anderson will travel to North Greenville on Sat. September 22. First serve is slated for 10 a.m.
