ANDERSON, S.C. – For the second straight year, the Anderson University women's tennis team defeated nonconference rival Erskine, 9-0, to earn a huge point towards the Beville Cup on Tuesday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.
With the win, Anderson moves to 9-9 overall while the Flying Fleet fall to 5-13 overall. The Trojans who enjoyed snapping a 16 year win streak a season ago winning 9-0 in Due West now push their win steak to two.
The Black and Gold will travel to nonconference opponent Young Harris on Thursday. First-Serve is slated for 2 p.m.
