Women’s Tennis Defeats Catawba; 7-2

SALISBURY, N.C. – Using the momentum gained after building a 3-0 advantage after the doubles portion, the Anderson women's tennis team triumphed over SAC opponent Catawba, 7-2, on Wednesday afternoon at the Johnson Tennis Center.

With the victory, the Trojans move to 8-7 overall and 4-3 in conference play while the Indians fall to 3-9 overall and 0-6 in SAC action.

The Black and Gold were able to pick up four wins in the singles portion to set the final score at 7-2.

Anderson remains on the road when it travels to SAC opponent Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday. First-serve is slated for 2 p.m.
