ANDERSON, S.C. – Several members of both the Anderson men's and women's tennis teams will be participating in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tournament that begins on Friday morning in Sumter, S.C.
On the men's side, sophomore Ignacio Bidegain, junior Tomas Depaggio, sophomore Jeffrey Dayton and junior Hufelder Duarte will play in both the singles and doubles competition. Bidegain and Depaggio will team up to compete in the "A" Flight while Dayton and Duarte pair up in the "B" Flight.
On the women's side senior Ivey Welborn, redshirt junior Laura Dean, sophomore Jacqueline Olivia and freshman Cameron Blanchard will compete in both singles and doubles action. The duo of Welborn and Dean will play in the "A" Flight while Olivia and Blanchard will compete in the "B" Flight.
Anderson will finish up fall play as a team when it host Emmanuel on Friday, Oct. 27th. First serve is slated for 1 p.m. at the AU Tennis Complex.
