ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson University women's soccer sophomore Erin Cepeda was named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
Cepeda, a sophomore from Fort Mill, S.C., led the Trojans to a 1-1 record last week. She scored the first three goals of her collegiate career, as well as recording her first career hat trick in Anderson's 4-0 win over Coker. Cepeda scored the first and second goals of the match, as well as the final goal. This is Cepeda's first offensive player of the week honor of the season.
Anderson travels to face off with SAC opponent Mars Hill on Saturday. Kick-off is slated for 1 pm.
