Women’s Soccer Adds Seventh Signee

ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University women's soccer program is looking to build off of a 2018 season where the Trojans team advanced to the postseason for the seventh time in eight seasons. The Black and Gold finished the season with an overall record of 7-8-1, falling to Catawba, 1-0, in the quarterfinal round of the South Atlantic Conference Championship. The 2019 signing class now features seven future Trojans who will look to make an immediate impact for the 2019 fall season, adding Kendell Simpson in late spring.

The Black and Gold welcome: Jeanette Campbell (Piedmont, S.C./Powdersville High School), Alexia Chacon (Cooper City, Fla./College Academy), Spencer Heming (Cincinnati, Ohio./Turpin High School), Sarah Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota West High School), Zoe Newell (Fort Mill, S.C./Fort Mill High School) and Haley Sanneman (Charlotte, N.C../Weddington High School), Kendell Simpson (Amelia, Ohio/West Clermont High School) to the team for the upcoming 2019 campaign.
