Women’s Soccer Unveils 2019 Schedule

Anderson, S.C. - Anderson University women's soccer head coach Sarah Jacobs has released her 2019 schedule.

The Trojans finished 7-8-1 overall during the 2018 campaign. Anderson opened the season with a tough nonconference slate using that experience to reel off four straight wins to open South Atlantic Conference play, finishing with a solid 6-3-1 overall league finish and a trip to the SAC Championship quarterfinals.

The 2019 women's soccer schedule features five non-conference matches and 10 SAC matches with eight of the contests being played at home.

Jacobs on the 2019 schedule: "We are extremely excited to take on the 2019 season. The team has worked incredibly hard over the spring to continue to improve physically and technically in preparation for the fall. We expect many players to step up and impact the game as we look to replace a large senior class from last year. We have a great mix of opponents lined up for non-conference games and expect all of our SAC games to be very competitive. I have thoroughly enjoyed leading this group and growing our culture over the last year. We look forward to continuing the process as we strive for success in 2019."
