Anderson, S.C. - Anderson University women's soccer senior Kristin Herbert has been named to the NSCAA Senior College Scholar All-South Region Third Team for Division II.
The senior captain has recently garnered the South Atlantic Conference Elite 20 Award, CoSIDA Academic All-District and CoSIDA Academic All-America honors for her commitment to academics.
Herbert played in 13 matches while starting in 11 for the Black and Gold. The native of Arlington, VA., helped anchor the backline that helped produce six clean sheets and a second straight trip to the SAC Championship semifinals.
In the classroom, Hebert carries a 4.0 GPA while majoring in Biochemistry, as she has been named to the Anderson University Dean's List following every semester of her collegiate career. The senior captain is also a four-year member of the Honors Program and a member of Gamma Beta Phi, a service-based honor society.
