ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson University women's soccer senior Kristin Herbert was named the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Elite 20 honoree, the League announced today.
This Elite 20 award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average based on a minimum of 48 credit hours who is competing at the final site of each of the Conference's 20 team championship sports.
The Arlington, Va. native, boasts a 4.0 GPA as a biochemistry major. Herbert is a member of the honors program at Anderson and has been on the Dean's List all four years as a Trojan. A three-year member of the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll, Herbert has played in 12 games on the year, including 11 starts. Herbert has been a captain for the Black and Gold the past three seasons and garnered D-II CIDA Academic Achievement Awards as junior and senior.
