Women’s Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, M.O. – The Anderson University women's soccer team was among the 851 soccer teams (301 men, 550 women) from throughout the United States that earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the 2016-17 academic year. Among these programs are 223 schools receiving honors for both their men and women's teams.

To qualify for the award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the entire academic year. The team GPA is determined by adding all roster player's GPA, then dividing by the number of players. The Trojans team GPA was a 3.25.

Anderson is currently 4-7-1 overall and 3-4 in South Atlantic Conference action. The Black and Gold square off tonight at SAC opponent Queens. Kick-off is slated at 5 p.m.
