Victoria Hall Deadlocked in Tie for 61st Place After Two Rounds of NCAA Women’s Golf Championships

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Anderson University's Victoria Hall posted a 10-over-par 83 during the second round of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships on Wednesday and sits in an eight-way tie for 61st place entering Thursday's final round.

The championships are being hosted by Palm Beach Atlantic at the par-73, 6,081-yard PGA National Resort.

Indianapolis, which was tied for fourth following Tuesday's first round, leapt into the lead with a second-round 299 – the best round of the tournament, so far. UIndy leads Barry five strokes, while Cal State San Marcos slipped from the top spot into third place, eight strokes off the pace. Florida Tech made the biggest jump of the day, vaulting from 10th place on Tuesday into fourth place on Wednesday by slashing a dozen strokes from its first-round effort. Lynn, Dallas Baptist and Southwest Oklahoma State are deadlocked in a tie for fifth place, with Limestone falling from a share of fourth place into eighth place.

Findlay, Arkansas Tech, Grand Valley State, West Texas A&M, Northeastern State, Oklahoma Christian, Central Missouri and Missouri – St. Louis finish out the 16-team field.

With only seven players reaching par or better on the day and the first-round leaders struggling, Cal State San Marcos' Jaime Jacob (72-72=144) and Academy of Art's Anahi Servin (73-71=144) are tied atop the individual leaderboard, with Southwest Oklahoma State's Gloria Choi just one shot further back in third.

Hall reached par on nine holes during Wednesday's round and notched a birdie on the par-5 sixth hole, but double-bogeyed No. 8 and triple-bogeyed the par-4 ninth hole.

Following Thursday's final round, an individual champion will be declared along with finishers 2-10.

Thursday's third round is scheduled start at 8 a.m.
