INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – With its spot in next month's NCAA South Region Tournament already secured after winning its first-ever SAC Championship earlier this month, the Anderson women's golf team was ranked 12th in the South Region in the NCAA's third and final weekly Division II South Region rankings, as released late Thursday afternoon.

Joining the Trojans – who were ranked 11th in each of the first two weekly rankings - in the third weekly poll from the South Atlantic Conference were Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 13 and Carson-Newman (No. 14). The Bears made their first appearance after not being ranked in either of the first two polls, while Wingate, which was 13th a week ago, fell out of the final poll.

Ironically, Anderson moved up two spots in the latest Golfstat rankings and is ranked 20th nationally in Division II, while owning an adjusted scoring average of 76.08. Wingate is ranked 24th nationally with an adjusted scoring average of 77.18, while Carson-Newman is ranked 25th nationally with an adjusted scoring average of 76.73. L-R is ranked 27th nationally.
