ANDERSON, S.C. – Following a two-week layoff and a third-place finish at the Converse Spring Invitational, the Anderson women's golf team is set to compete at the Pfeiffer Invitational, which will be hosted by the Falcons, Monday and Tuesday at the Hilton Head Lakes Golf Club.

This will mark the Trojans' sixth straight appearance at Hilton Head Lakes and they are coming off a solid sixth-place showing a year ago. Tiffany Elam carded a two-day, 8-over-par 152 and finished in a tie for 22nd to lead AU a season ago, with Kate Hill sharing 26th place. Riley Lovorn tied for 29th place and Blake Hodges finished alone in 44th place.

Elam, Hill and Anna Freeman each carded two-day 15-over-par 159s and shared 12th place two weeks ago at Converse, with Lovorn (168) earning a tie for 26th place. Junior Samantha Ellison (179) finished 37th.

Hill paces the Trojans with a 77.00 stroke average through six events this season and has posted three top-10 finishes, while Freeman has a 79.08 stroke average and has notched a seventh-place finish and has shared 10th place in a pair of tournaments.

Elam carded a low-round of 75 on the second day of the Patsy Rendleman Invitational back in October and has a pair of top-10 finishes this season. Lovorn has a pair of 75s through 12 rounds and helped lead the Trojans to the AU Invitational title in September, with Ellison garnering 10th place at the AU Invitational.
