ANDERSON, S.C. – After posting a school-record round of 300 on the second day and capturing third-place at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational two weeks ago, the Anderson women's golf team is set for the Flagler Fall Slam on Monday and Tuesday.

The 36-hole event will be hosted by Flagler College at the Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine, Fla. The yardage is 6,062 yards and par is 72. Tee times will start at 8 a.m. each day on split tees.

Joining the 37th-ranked Trojans and host Saints will be Barry, Columbus State, Eastern Florida State College, Eckerd, Embry-Riddle, Lee, Limestone, Mars Hill, Montevallo, UNC Pembroke, Queens, St. Edward's, Seminole State College of Florida, Tampa, Tarleton State and Wingate.

Barry is the two-time defending champion of the two-day event and has claimed the team title six times, including five of the last seven years. After a two-year hiatus, the Trojans are returning to the event for the sixth time in eight years and finished as high as 11th in 2010 and 2013.

Sophomore Kate Hill leads the Trojans with a 75.00 stroke average and has paced the Trojans in both fall tournaments with a second-place finish and a share of 13th place, while carding a season-low 74 in the second round of the AU Invitational. Junior Tiffany Elam has a 78.50 stroke average through two tourneys and fired a season-best 75 in the second round of the AU Invitational, while finishing in a tie for fifth at the AU Invitational and sharing 16th place at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational.

Senior Riley Lovorn has averaged a 79.00, while finishing in a tie for seventh and 20th, respectively. Freshman Anna Freeman also shared seventh place at the AU Invitational, with junior Samantha Ellison capturing a 10th-place finish at the AU Invitational.

None of the current Trojan golfers competed in 2014, when AU made its last appearance at the Fall Slam.
