ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson University women's basketball junior Alexy Mollenhauer was honored by The South Atlantic Conference as the AstroTurf Women's Player of the Week for games played during the week of Feb. 25 through Mar.3, announced by the league office on Monday.
Mollenhauer continued her stellar play to lead the Trojans to a 2-0 week, helping to extend their win streak to 24 games. Anderson finishes the conference regular season with a spotless 20-0 mark and has broken the program's all-time consecutive victories record.
The Lindale, Texas native averaged 29 points, 12 rebounds, 4.5 assists, two blocks, and 1.5 steals per game.
The Black and Gold remain home to welcome SAC opponent Catawba on Wednesday to begin the first round of the SAC Championships. The Trojans are riding a 24 game win streak. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
