ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson University women's basketball junior Alexy Mollenhauer was honored by The South Atlantic Conference as the AstroTurf Women's  Player of the Week for games played during the week of Feb. 11 through Feb. 17, announced by the league office on Monday.

Mollenhauer opened the week up recording her 16th double-double (20 points and 13 rebounds) of the season hitting 6-of-6 foul shots down the stretch to secure the home win over South Atlantic Conference foe Carson-Newman. The Lindale, Texas native followed with her 17th double-double performance of the season (27 points and 15 rebounds) against SAC opponent Coker.

For the week, the junior forward averaged 23.5 points, 14 rebounds, 3.5 assists and two blocked shots.

The Black and Gold remain home to welcome SAC opponent Newberry on Saturday. The Trojans are riding a 21 game win streak. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m.
