Women’s Basketball Remains No. 2 in the D2SIDA Southeast Region Media Poll

DURANGO, Colo. – The Anderson University women's basketball remains steady in the second slot in the Southeast Region Media Poll, sponsored by D2SIDA, announced by the regional committee on Monday.

The Trojans remain in the second slot continuing to hold the highest ranked team honors from the SAC. Newberry owns the third position while Carson-Newman moves up to the fourth spot. Wingate sits in the fifth spot with Tusculum holding on to number nine.

The Women's Basketball Division II Media Poll, sponsored by D2SIDA, is in its fifth year of existence. The regional poll is released every Monday, followed by the national poll every Tuesday. Each region has six representatives that comprise the regional poll. The national poll has 16 voters - 2 from each region.

Anderson returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to SAC opponent Wingate. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m.
