ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University women's basketball used a 25 point third quarter to put away South Atlantic Conference foe Tusculum, 67-54, in its season conference opener on Wednesday night at the Abney Athletic Center.

- The Trojans held the Pioneers to 22-of-74 (29.7%) shooting for the game
- Tusculum forced 11 first half turnovers with AU committing zero turnovers in its third quarter push
- Pioneers scored 22 points off of the 20 Trojan turnovers

- Junior Alexy Mollenhauer led all scorers with a game-high 21 points and 17 rebounds. Mollenhauer has recorded a double-double in 5-of-6 games played this season
- Senior Erika Martin scored a season high 13 while grabbing a career-high nine rebounds
- Senior Ace Easter contributed 12 points in 33 minutes of action
- Junior Amari Grevious chipped in six points while grabbing a career-high 14 rebounds
- Sophomore Alexis Tate provided a solid 24 minutes off of the bench netting seven points while ripping down six rebounds
