ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Anderson University women's basketball fell to the inspired nonconference Claflin Panthers on its homecoming, 77-71, on Saturday afternoon in front of a raucous crowd at Tullis Arena.
With the setback, the Trojans drop to 2-2 overall while Claflin improves to 2-2 on the young season.

- Senior Ace Easter led AU with 20 points while adding two blocked shots and a steal
- Junior Alexy Mollenhauer recorded her third double-double in four outings with 18 points and 15 rebounds
- Freshman Erin Cepeda scored a career high 15 points while junior Amari Grevious pulled down a career high 13 rebounds. Grevious also chipped eight points
- Anderson committed a season-high 25 turnovers
