Dillard and Mollenhauer Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

Anderson, S.C. – Anderson University women's basketball graduate student Alexis Dillard and sophomore Alexy Mollenhauer have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for District III, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday.

Dillard has started all 27 games for the Black and Gold. The native of Taylors, S.C., is averaging 11.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while leading the South Atlantic Conference in field goal percentage (55.5%). Dillard's name has moved up many Anderson all-time statistical categories on the season and is just five rebounds shy of becoming AU's all-time career rebound leader.

In the classroom, Dillard carries a 4.0 GPA while earning a Master degree in Elementary Education.

Mollenhauer averages 28.1 minutes per game while starting 26-of-27 games for the Black and Gold.
The sophomore guard has scored 11.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. Mollenhauer ranks in the top-17 in the SAC in Rebounds per game, 3pt-FG% and Scoring.

In the classroom, Mollenhauer carries a 4.0 while studying English Secondary Education.

As members of the Academic All-District Teams, these student-athletes will advance to the Academic All-America national ballot. District III (college division) includes NCAA Division II schools from the Conference Carolinas, the Peach Belt Conference and the South Atlantic Conference. The members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (by districts) select the Academic All-District men's and women's basketball teams.
