ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson University sophomore pitcher Harlie Duncan has earned the AstroTurf Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played during April 8 through April 1, announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Duncan, a sophomore right-handed pitcher, threw a three-hitter in the 3-1 win over Mars Hill. Two days later, the Tolono, Ill. native tossed a five-hit shutout versus Queens. Duncan totaled 12 strikeouts over 14 innings of work, pushing her overall record to 15-6. This is Duncan's first Pitcher of the Week honor of the season.
