Softball’s Mattie Hamilton Named AnMed Comeback Player of the Month

ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University softball junior catcher Mattie Hamilton has been named the AnMed Comeback Player of the Month for February.

Hamilton, a native of Perry, Ga., has helped lead AU to a 2-2 record since her return to the diamond, as the Trojans swept Chowan in a nonconference doubleheader last Friday night. She has batted .286 in four contests, with a double and a triple in seven at-bats, while drawing a walk and driving in four runs.

Each month, an Anderson University student-athlete is recognized as the AnMed Comeback Player of the Month for their work and perseverance to get back on the court or field through rehabilitation and treatment.

AnMed is the Official Healthcare Provider of the Trojans.
