ANDERSON, S.C.- The Anderson University softball team spent the day at St. Joseph Catholic School in Anderson as part of Nutrition Day.
The softball team provided fruits and vegetables for students to try as a sample bite with almost every student willing to give it a go.
Anderson Athletics partners with many organizations throughout the year in order to actively engage with the community.
The Trojans open their 2019 campaign at the Flagler Classic which begins on Saturday, Feb. 2. First pitch versus nonconference opponents Ga. Southwestern and Flagler is slated for 11a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
