ANDERSON, S.C. -The Anderson University softball team will play a balanced slate that features 24 home contests and 24 games on the road, as the Trojans released their 2017 schedule on Thursday.
The Trojans are looking to return to championship form after missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time in four seasons while also reaching the 40—win plateau during that same span. The Black and Gold finished the 2016 season with an overall record of 29-21 and 9-13 in the South Atlantic Conference standings.
Anderson opens the 2017 schedule on the road at Southern Wesleyan, marking the first time in four years that the Trojans have started the season away from the friendly confines of Anderson University.
