Men’s Cross Country Stays at No. 4 in Southeast Region Poll

NEW ORLEANS – The Anderson University men's cross country team remains fourth in the most recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) Southeast Regional Rankings, as released Tuesday afternoon.

The Peach Belt Conference led the way with five teams in the men's poll, led by Augusta at No. 3 and Flagler, which was unranked a week ago, checked in at No. 6. Columbus State, Georgia College and UNC Pembroke all slipped one spot to eighth, ninth and 10th, respectively.

The top four teams remained unchanged from a week ago, with Queens at the top of the poll and Mount Olive remaining in the second spot. The Trojans were fourth – just behind the Jaguars – with Tusculum making an appearance all the way up at No. 5 after not being ranked a week ago. Wingate rounded out the South Atlantic Conference squads in the rankings after slipping to seventh. Lincoln Memorial fell out of this week's poll.

After winning the Southern Wesleyan Warrior Invitational earlier this month, the Trojans return to action Saturday, at the North Georgia Cross Country Invitational.
