Licht Resigns as Trojan Cross Country and Track & Field Coach

ANDERSON, S.C. – After serving almost exactly two years as the Anderson University head cross country and track and field coach, Kevin Licht has resigned to accept a similar position at fellow South Atlantic conference-member Queens.

Licht arrived in the Electric City in mid-June, 2015 after three seasons at the helm of the Converse cross country and track and field programs.

During his two seasons with the Black and Gold, Licht guided both the men's and women's cross country teams to a pair of third-place finishes at the South Atlantic Conference Championships, while the men's track team finished fifth in both 2016 and 2017. The women's squad placed fourth in 2016 and fifth at the most recent SAC Outdoor Championships.

Under Licht's tutelage, 43 Trojans earned All-South Atlantic Conference recognition in cross country and track and field, while Haylee Love and Christopher Burton each qualified for the NCAA National Championships in their respective events. Licht's teams have performed in the classroom as well, earning All-Academic recognition from the USTFCCCA on multiple occasions.
