JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Paced by Junior Abigail Bozarth's first-place finish in the women's 5,000 meter run, the Anderson University track and field teams competed at East Tennessee State's Tri-Star Classic, Friday at Kermit Tipton Stadium on the campus of Science Hill High School.

Bozarth claimed the win in a time of 18:42.71, while freshman Olivia Rish finished 11th in a time of 19:57.13.

Freshman Philip Quillen claimed second place in the men's 3,000 meter steeplechase in a time of 9:43.21, while freshman Joey Teachout claimed eighth place in the 1,500 meters in a time of 4:12.49.
