Men’s Tennis Ranked Sixth In The DII ITA Collegiate Tennis Southeast Regional Rankings

ANDERSON, S.C.  – The Anderson University men's tennis team earned a No. 6 final DII ITA Regional Ranking, announced by the association on Thursday afternoon.

The No. 6 ranking is the highest in program history, since the ITA began its ranking system. The Trojans were also recently slotted No. 20 in the final national ITA poll.

The men's team finished the regular season with a 16-6 overall and 10-2 South Atlantic Conference record. Anderson finished second in the regular season and won its quarterfinal round before falling to Wingate in the SAC Championship semifinal round. The Black and Gold also earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 12 seasons, falling to Flagler in the opening round, 4-0.
