Bidegain; Men’s Tennis Nationally Ranked

TEMPE, Ariz. The Anderson University men's tennis team has been slotted No. 27 and junior Ignacio Bidegain has earned a No. 23 national ranking in singles in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association/Oracle Collegiate National Rankings.

The computerized rankings publish the Top 50 men's and women's teams. ITA member coaches have access to the unpublished rankings (teams outside the Top 50). Prior to the shift to computerized rankings, a national rankings panel voted on the Top 25 teams.

The No. 27th ranked Trojans finished the 2018 season with a 12-9 overall and 6-4 South Atlantic Conference record. The season was highlighted by a six-win streak which included a 5-4 victory over SAC powerhouse Queens.

Bidegain compiled an overall record of 13-6 and a 6-4 mark at the No. 1 singles flight for the Trojans. The native of Buenos Aires earned All-SAC First Team Honors for his stellar play.
