ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson University men's tennis sophomore Preston Morpeth has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 12-18, the League announced today.
Morpeth, a native of Columbus, Ga., went 3-0 in both doubles and singles play last week, as he lead the Trojans to a perfect record, including a SAC win over regionally ranked No. 7 Queens. Morpeth's doubles wins came at No. 3 doubles, while he was undefeated at No. 4 singles for the week.
The Trojans play today at nonconference rival Erskine. First-serve is slated for 1 p.m.
