Men’s Soccer Drops Home Contest Against Coker; 4-1

Anderson, S.C. – Anderson University men's soccer lost a hard fought South Atlantic Conference match, 4-1, against Coker on Wednesday evening at the Anderson Civic Center.

With the loss, the Trojans fall to 3-4-1 overall and 0-3-1 in conference play, while the Cobras move to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in SAC play.

Coker held a 2-0 lead after goals in the 30th and 35th minute of action with the Trojans cutting into the lead with a break-a-way goal by Shalev Keter in the 43rd minute.

Keter's goal would turn out to be the Trojans last of the evening, while Coker tacked on two more to put the match out of reach.

Anderson outshot the Cobras 20(7) – 12(7) and held the corner kick advantage 9-5.

BETWEEN THE POSTS

AU'S Gal Elyashiv was credited with three saves on the night, while Coker's keeper Guilermo Falo Ejea made six stops on the evening.
